General Information

It is a department that focuses on basic engineering science principles in its field and aims to provide theoretical and applied electrical and electronics education at the undergraduate level. Our department was established in 2017 and has been increasing its education quality and research with an increasing trend. In this context, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering provides education in five departments, including 2 professors, 2 associate professors, 5 doctoral faculty members and 3 research assistants.

In addition to basic engineering concepts, our department provides education and training on the design and analysis of electrical, electronic circuits and systems, communication systems, microwave technique and electromagnetic fields. Students who successfully complete the four-year education program are awarded an Electrical-Electronics Engineer diploma. Theoretical courses are supported by laboratory applications. A total of 40 working days of industrial internship is also required for graduation.

Graduates of our department work in consultancy firms in the fields of electricity, electronics and communication, as well as in all fields that require R&D activities. Atomic Energy Authority, TEDAŞ, TEİAŞ and other electricity companies and electronic and communication sector, national and international companies, radio and TV broadcasting organizations, institutions related to internet services and research-development, production and marketing units in the health sector, our universities, Vestel Elektronik, They have job opportunities in organizations such as Türk Telekom, Türkcell, TUBITAK, TAI, ASELSAN, Renault, Beko and at universities or research centers around the world.
