2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Lateral Transfer (Yatay Geçiş) — Results for Waitlisted Candidates Admitted

The 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Lateral Transfer Results have been announced. In the evaluation, applications made under Additional Article 1 (Ek Madde-1) were assessed directly on ÖSYM scores, while applications based on GPA were assessed with a 40% ÖSYM score contribution and a 60% GPA contribution. Scores were calculated on a 100-point scale. We congratulate our admitted students. Waitlisted students may apply if principal candidates fail to register (please follow the announcements).

Final registration start date: 14.09.2026
Final registration end date: 15.09.2026

Registration will be done in person at the Central Student Affairs Office on the ground floor of the University Rectorate building.

Documents required at registration:

1. Transcript: (An official document obtained from the institution the applicant is leaving, showing all courses taken and the grades received; it must have a QR code and be electronically signed)
2. Course Descriptions (QR-coded, electronically signed)
3. Student Certificate (QR-coded, electronically signed)
4. ÖSYS Result Document (for candidates applying under Additional Article 1)
5. Document showing that no previous lateral transfer has been made under Additional Article 1 (for candidates applying under Additional Article 1)
6. Document certifying no disciplinary penalty has been received (for candidates applying based on GPA)
7. For students transferring from evening education (ikinci öğretim) to daytime education (örgün öğretim), a document certifying they are in the top 10% (for candidates applying based on GPA)

Documents submitted at registration must be signed/certified or obtained via E-Devlet (e-Government). Students who complete registration must go to the Faculty Student Affairs Office and submit an exemption petition.

Regarding exemptions for admitted students:
Admitted students may request exemption so that courses taken at their previous university are counted. To do so, they must submit a petition.

Since the curriculum a student will be subject to is determined by the adaptation committee, students applying to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years must fill out the petition according to the 2026-2027 curriculum. Students applying to the 4th year must fill out 2 petitions, one according to the 2023-2024 curriculum and one according to the 2026-2027 curriculum.

Students who have earned the right to register via lateral transfer and wish to request course exemption must fill out this form and email its digital/Word version to muhendislik@bandirma.edu.tr when they come to the Faculty for registration procedures. When filling out the form, only one course should be written opposite each course, and the same course must not be used twice.

Students wishing to request exemption can access the course plans and course descriptions of the department they transferred to via the links below. Since the exemption request can be made only once, it is important that it be done carefully.
