Announcement on GETEM Audio Digital Library Membership

The Audio Digital Library developed by Boğaziçi University’s Technology and Education Laboratory for the Visually Impaired (GETEM) aims to facilitate access to information resources for visually impaired individuals as well as for those who have difficulty using printed materials.

The library includes a wide range of Turkish and English content such as stories, novels, poems, textbooks, articles, lecture notes, conference recordings, radio dramas, audio-described films, and audio tutorials on computers and smart devices.

Individuals who can provide proof of disability (such as a disability ID card or medical report) can register for free and access all materials in the collection anytime, anywhere via the internet or phone.

Our institution has been a corporate member of the GETEM Audio Digital Library since 2022. It is important that students within your coordination unit who wish to benefit from this service are informed accordingly.

Students who would like to use the GETEM service may request a username and password from our office. Alternatively, they may also register individually through GETEM.
