Eight Scientists from Our Faculty on the "World's Most Influential Scientists" List

Eight faculty members from our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences have been included in the 2025 “World’s Most Influential Scientists” list prepared by Stanford University. This international achievement of our academics once again demonstrates the scientific productivity and international visibility of our faculty.

Conducted every year by scientists at Stanford University, this study is based on international criteria such as the number of high-quality publications, the impact of the journals in which they are published, the number of patents, the number of citations, the h-index, the hm-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles and the impact factor of the journals. More than 200,000 scientists worldwide are evaluated in the ranking, which is based on criteria such as the scientific productivity of academics and the quality of their work.

In this prestigious list, academics are ranked in two different categories: “Career-Long Impact” and “Single-Year Impact”.

• In the Career-Long Impact category, Prof. Dr. Serhat Duman, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yeşil and Prof. Dr. Feyzullah Temurtaş were included in the list.

• In the Single-Year Impact category, Prof. Dr. Serhat Duman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Aslan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat Kılıçarslan, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yeşil, Prof. Dr. Özgen Korkmaz, Prof. Dr. Miraç Kamışlıoğlu and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Gökyıldırım represented our faculty on the list, marking an important achievement at the international level.

The fact that our academics are on the list in both the Career-Long Impact and Single-Year Impact categories demonstrates the sustainable nature of our scientific work and its international recognition.
