Attention to Students Selecting Courses for the 2024-2025 Fall Semester

Regarding Course Selections for the 2024-2025 Fall Semester

Students should consider the following points when selecting courses:

1. For the Occupational Health and Safety I and İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği courses offered in the 3rd year:

a) Students in the Turkish and English programs following the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 curricula must select this course. Students under the 2021-2022 curriculum and later should not select this course.

2. For the Computer Networks and Bilgisayar Ağları courses offered in the 3rd year:

a) Students in the Turkish and English programs following the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 curricula must select this course. Students under the 2021-2022 curriculum and later should select the Operating Systems and Computer Operating Systems courses instead.

3. For 3rd-year students:

a) Students enrolled in the Turkish program must choose one of the following courses: Digital Design with Verilog-HDL, Robotic Technologies, or Lean Production Techniques. Additionally, they must select one of the university elective courses coded as USD.

b) Students enrolled in the English program must select both the Visual Programming and Robotics courses.

4. Students who have previously failed the Project Management course should reselect it. If you have not taken this course before, choose a USD course. (The Project Management course will only be offered to students retaking the course, and only the exams will be held.)
5. For 4th-year students:

a) Students in the Turkish and English programs following the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 curricula must select the Entrepreneurship course. Students under the 2021-2022 curriculum and later should select the MIS4101 Occupational Health and Safety I course.

b) Both Turkish and English program students must select four elective courses.

c) Newly enrolled 4th-year students in the Turkish program must select either the MUH4103 Embedded Systems or MUH4102 Introduction to Machine Learning course. Additionally, they must select three other elective courses.

The Engineering Design courses are the introductory courses for the capstone project. Students are required to coordinate with the faculty members in the department regarding these courses.

NOTE: The curricula that students are subject to usually correspond to the year in which they enrolled in the university.Pay attention to course overlaps during course selection. Priority should be given to courses from previous semesters when making selections. Students who completed their internships during the summer are required to add their courses.
