Event Announcement

The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University will be organizing a seminar titled "Engineering Law for Engineering and Natural Sciences Faculties."

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 2:30 PM in the Nazım Hikmet Conference Hall of the Central Lecture Hall Building. The speaker will be Dr. Büşra KAZMAZ TEPE, Head of the Law Department at Bandırma Vocational School. At 3:30 PM, in the same hall, the speaker for the session will be Prof. Dr. Özgen KORKMAZ, Head of the Computer Engineering Department. The program will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Harun ÖZBAY, a faculty member of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.

The seminar will provide students with comprehensive information on the legal aspects of the engineering profession, the professional responsibilities of engineers, contract processes, intellectual and industrial property rights, and professional ethics. This event, which provides engineering students with important content regarding the legal processes they may encounter in their professional lives, aims to contribute to their academic careers and future professional lives.
